Newton House Preparatory
Newton House Preparatory is an assisted learning school designed to provide your child with a caring and structured environment, building on their foundational skills and growing the much-needed confidence required to achieve their personal best.
Building on a traditional schooling experience, Newton House Preparatory in Randburg offers your child a safe space to learn and grow, both in and out of the classroom. Small classes, with a maximum of 12 pupils, ensure focus is placed on each child’s ability.
Our Approach to Education
Newton House School offers children who are not well suited to mainstream/traditional learning environments an individual and multi-sensory approach to the CAPS (Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement) curriculum whilst providing a traditional school experience.
Activities outside of the classroom, both sports and cultural, are just as important as those inside. Extra-mural activities provide a platform for your child to learn more about their personal abilities and develop talents that previously may have been thought unattainable.
At Newton House, we believe that fun is part of the glue that builds your child’s confidence. Dress up days, camp-outs and grandparents’ days are just a few of the fun activities that build life and social skills during the Junior Phase experience.
Our Newton House Preparatory Teaching Team
Our teachers are carefully selected, not only for their teaching skills and experience, but for their disposition and ability to exercise patience within the learning environment.
